Last week, we took NPSP Day back to San Francisco! This time we had the privilege of hosting the day at SPUR’s centrally located penthouse downtown, with floor-to-ceiling windows, an outdoor balcony, and plenty of natural light to match the energy in the room. Huge thanks to Michelle and the rest of the SPUR team for letting us use their beautiful space! Attendees traveled from as far away as Sacramento to join local Salesforce admins for a day of learning, problem-solving, and connection. For many in the community, this was one of the first opportunities in years to meet other nonprofit Salesforce users in person. A special thanks to Staci and Katie from Idlewild Partners (our cohost) for helping make this opportunity possible!

Get ready for another NPSP Day recap! On September 11, NPSP Day landed in Minneapolis at the historic Grain Exchange, where local nonprofits, schools, and Salesforce pros came together for a day of learning, problem-solving, and connection. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect: a crisp, sunny September day that matched the energy in the room. It was inspiring to see so many Minnesota-based Catholic schools diving into their Salesforce journeys with NPSP, alongside seasoned community champions like Nick Lindberg, Stephanie King, and Jason Samuels. Whether folks were brand new to Salesforce or a longtime power user, the conversations captured the spirit of what makes NPSP Days special: collaboration, curiosity, and a whole lot of ah-ha moments.

Events are one of the most effective ways to engage your community and raise support for your cause, whether it's a charity 5K, swanky gala, or laid-back gathering to cap off your latest peer-to-peer campaign. But ensuring everyone’s safety, from guests to volunteers, adds a crucially important layer of planning. Creating a thoughtful safety strategy for your event means considering all the possible risks, developing strategies to prevent as many as you can, and having a plan ready in the event of emergencies. In this guide, we’ll cover five key steps your nonprofit should take to prioritize safety (and protect your peace of mind) at its next event.

The 2025 year-end giving season is shaping up to be one of the most competitive and opportunity-filled periods nonprofits have seen in years. With digital fundraising continuing to surge, donor-advised funds on the rise, and recurring giving programs becoming a must-have for sustainability, organizations that prepare their donation pages now will be best positioned to capture generosity before December 31. In 2025, donors expect frictionless online giving experiences, mobile-first design, and transparent impact stories. The good news? With Soapbox Engage, you already have powerful tools at your fingertips to meet these expectations and inspire more giving.
Corporate giving is evolving faster than ever. Companies are launching more employee-driven programs, integrating social impact into their brand identity, and seeking deeper community connections. For nonprofits, that means a wealth of opportunities to increase funding, awareness, and long-term partnerships. That is, if you know how to position yourself for the future.
