Great Ideas for Nonprofits Using Salesforce

  1. NPC: Allow Batch Gift Processing of Unpaid Standalone Transactions
    David Cheng (Idealist Consulting)

This IdeaExchange post highlights a limitation in Nonprofit Cloud's batch gift processing: unpaid Gift Transactions can only be updated if they're tied to a Gift Commitment. For organizations that collect payment on one-time pledges later, the system creates a new transaction instead of updating the existing one.

The proposed enhancement would allow batch processing to recognize and update standalone unpaid Gift Transactions, simplifying gift entry and reducing unnecessary records. Remember to vote!
