Product Updates

Automations and Customizations with Stripe Subscriptions

Automations and Customizations with Stripe Subscriptions

If an organization uses Stripe as their payment processor with the Soapbox Engage Donations app and User Integration add-on (“portal”), logged-in portal users have the ability to cancel or update their recurring donation in the “My Transactions” view. Thanks to this update, an existing Stripe Customer's payment method is saved and associated with new Subscriptions made by the same customer when the email address matches. Additionally, administrators can customize a message shown to logged-in users when they update their Stripe Subscription Schedule.

Update Event Capacity Based on Salesforce Registration Data

Update Event Capacity Based on Salesforce Registration Data

In the Soapbox Engage Events app, an administrator can set the event capacity under “Ticket Information” when creating a new event. Soapbox Engage tracks how many people register for the event and closes event registration when capacity is reached. This, however, doesn’t account for registrations that happen in-person or by other means. With this release, administrators can have registrations recorded directly in Salesforce count towards the event capacity in the Soapbox Engage Events app.

For example, let’s say an organization’s event capacity is set to 10 and you have 3 people register online and 3 people register in-person (recorded directly in Salesforce). Soapbox Engage will know that 6 people have registered, and set event capacity to have only 4 tickets remaining. This allows you to automatically calculate remaining event capacity based on registrations taken via your website and in-person or other means.

Seamlessly Integrate the Shop app with Salesforce’s State and Country Picklists

Seamlessly Integrate the Shop app with Salesforce’s State and Country Picklists

Salesforce’s State and Country/Territory Picklists lets users select states, countries, and territories from predefined, standardized lists, instead of entering state and country/territory data into text fields. This Soapbox Engage Shop app update creates a seamless integration with Salesforce’s State and Country Picklists and records the country field's value from the Shop app to the Lead’s CountryCode field in Salesforce.
