Product Updates

Improved Defense Against Carding Attacks

Improved Defense Against Carding Attacks

In the continued fight against carding attacks, we’ve given the Donations app a new set of armor. Carding attacks have grown increasingly sophisticated and we’ve followed suit with our defenses.

Previously, the Donations app would automatically block a given IP address from submitting any form after too many declined transactions within a given time period. With our latest update, Soapbox Engage automatically enables reCAPTCHA across all donation forms for all users if a given number of IP addresses are blocked in a given time period. Additionally, the number of instances as well as the time frame for both the initial IP block and the automatic enabling of reCAPTCHA can be set by the administrator.

Access Valuable Information with Event Registration Detail View

Access Valuable Information with Event Registration Detail View

Prior to this release, there was limited registration data available in the Events app and no information on the status of leads being created in Salesforce. Thanks to a recent update, administrators can now take advantage of the event registration detail view.

This detailed view includes transaction information, payment details, contact Information, Salesforce information, and ticket information. Under “Salesforce Information” an administrator will be able to see the status of any lead created in Salesforce as well as any error that Soapbox Engage got back from Salesforce when attempting to create the lead. This will be immensely helpful when tracking and troubleshooting any issues that arise with Salesforce.

New Filters in the Classes App

New Filters in the Classes App

In the Classes app, users now have the ability to search for classes by date range. Potential participants can simply enter a start and end date to see what classes fit with their calendar.

Administrators also have the ability to set a default date range based on what time of year it is and what classes they're offering. Additionally, when registration is closed or a class is full, administrators can choose whether they want to show or hide those events from front-end users.
