As some of you may know, I hold NTEN (nonprofit technology network) Happy Hours once a month. This is a time when we as a community of "accidental techies" get together to discuss the triumphs and tragedies of the job. Add in some food and drink as well as the occasional educational speaker, and we have an excellent way to spend a Thursday evening.
So what can make these NTEN events even better? Well, when we have partners, of course! This month NTEN is in partnership with NetSquared DC for our Happy Hour to be held tonight, Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Local 16. I'm excited to meet various folks from NetSquared as well as mingle with my usual NTEN-ers. And I can't think of a better way to spend one of the last technical nights of summer than on the beautiful deck of Local 16. We're meeting from 6 - 8 pm tonight, and there's still time to register.
