I'm now in charge of coordinating the monthly NTEN happy hours. What is NTEN you ask? Well, it's the non-profit technology network connecting thousands of non-profit workers across the United States. Here in DC, we have a chapter that meets for educational sessions, poses questions for other members to answer via our listserv, and gathers monthly for social outings.
Last night was the first of many happy hours for the DC NTEN community. We had it at James Hoban's in Dupont Circle where there were great drink specials and appetizers for all to enjoy. We had a turnout of about thirty non-profit tech folks but are always welcoming more.
But the best part of the happy hour had to be when Phil, accidental techie of someorg.org and star of his own youtube videos, showed up to take pictures (but not sign autographs!) for the NTENers. Check out some pictures below!
