Pets for Patriots uses Soapbox Engage to fuel its mission of connecting animals who need a home with those who need support

Pets for Patriots gives the gifts of fidelity, joy and love to veterans and shelter animals through companion pet adoption. They work to provide homes for overlooked shelter animals by transitioning the abandoned to companion pets for military families. Their mission is to end animal homelessness while providing veterans with a loving four-legged, furry friend.

Their mission is made possible through the contributions of donors who are inspired by their dedication to serving military families and homeless animals.

To fund its mission, Pets for Patriots was in need of a technology that provides seamless online payment processing from any device with real-time integration with Salesforce. To fill that need, they adopted Soapbox Engage.

“We're using Soapbox Engage to give our supporters an easy-to-use, mobile-friendly way to donate, while at the same time giving our nonprofit organization great tools to accept, track and report donations,” said Beth Zimmerman, Founder and Executive Director of Pets for Patriots.

In implementing Soapbox Engage, Pets for Patriots experienced an increase in the frequency of gifts to a variety of programs across their organization. There is no longer a need for separate donation pages for each program offered, with one page allowing donors to put their money where their heart is.

"By giving donors a choice of programs to support, all on a single donation page, we're making it easier for them to contribute to our mission in ways that are most meaningful to them,” said Zimmerman.

Cultivating meaning for the donor not only results in broader funding of programs across the organization but increases donor loyalty and the likelihood of future gifts to support a mission to which they feel individually connected.
